Molly and I train three times a week for no more than 15 minutes per session at our dog club in Lysekil. We remain at Class 1 level in competitions but have won three first prizes and are going to train at Class 2 level. We will see what happens this year and what we have time for. Nowdays it is Lily I compete with in obedience. She have had 4 starts and we will see how it goes.
Molly and I have started in the basic class for human-tracking. A person walks in the woods and drops a wooden stick an hour before Molly and I follow and look for the stick. Then there are some different exercises in front of a judge, some of which are very difficult. We are working on these.
Molly is a very good tracking dog. 2003 was a good year for us as she became Swedish Tracking Champion, West Coast District Champion and Sweden's Tracking Cocker of the Year. We compete in this because it is great fun and Molly just loves it. Now I have two more dogs and they love it also. All my dogs is blood tracking champions.
Occassionally we take part in dog shows. All my dogs has received first prizes and quality certificates as well as many Best of Breeds and Best of Opposite Sex.
A rather new activity for us. But we compite in medium class jumping 1. My dogs is doing fine in this competition.
